Tanish has been part of the Ubuntu Athletics since its inception 4 years ago. Tanish has been playing on Mission San Jose High School varsity basketball team and started contributing to this cause as an athletics coach with Ubuntu. He is a member of FTC Robotics Team 5151 Infinity. His participation in Robotics and passion about STEM inspired him to found the 'Robotics division' of Ubuntu. Since the inception of Robotics division he has offered and conducted several STEM sessions ( in addition to athletics camps ) for kindergarten children over last two years to instill STEM interest in young kids. Jay Bisen has also been part of the Ubuntu Athletics organization for the past several years. He has played on various competitive basketball teams throughout his life. He also participated in FLL Robotics in years past and is an extrememly accomplished student.
Rachel has been participating in Ubuntu Athletics for the past 2 years. She plays for Mission San Jose’s varsity soccer team and runs in the school’s track and field team. Outside of school, she plays club soccer for Pleasanton Rage ECNL and also made the 2015-2016 ODP regional team. Her love for sports extends to her passion to coach students at local schools.
Vinayak Nadig has been a part of Ubuntu Athletics for the past 2 years. As a member of Mission San Jose's soccer team, Vinayak is very experienced with sports. He also has experience with STEM robotics, attending several hackathons and developing apps. His passion for coaching makes him a great member of the organization.
James Chong has participated in Ubuntu Athletics for the past 3 Years. He has participated in sports like basketball, soccer, tennis, and even water polo. As a varsity sports player at Mission San Jose, his love for athletics comes out when coaching the kids.
