You can contribute to Ubuntu in multiple ways:
1. Volunteer as a Coach: We are experiencing a lot of demand for volunteering to coach kids during the summer – soccer, basketball, robotics, and programming. Earn volunteer hours for yourself, have fun coaching the kids, and help us continue to raise funds to support our cause. Contact us at [email protected] to get started!
2. Start Your Own Chapter: Yes. We are looking to expand to other areas in the Bay area (and beyond that soon). How can you start your chapter of Ubuntu? You need to meet certain requirements (excel in a sport at Varsity level at least, be good with kids, get your parents’ permit, commit to 2-3 hours a week, and have a target amount you would like to raise). We will provide you with a kit that includes all the details. Contact us for more information – send an email with your contact information, your interests, and your location.
